Types of DOST-SEI S&T Scholarship
- MERIT- Under RA No. 2067, the DOST-SEI Merit Scholarship Program, formerly known as the NSDB or NSTA Scholarship for the students who want to get scholarships in the Philippines, is awarded to students with high awards in science and mathematics who wish to study in science and technology so this is the DOST Scholarships 2024
- R.A. 7687- Republic Act No. 7687, also known as the “Science and Technology Scholarship Act of 1994 for the students,” grants scholarships to talented and deserving students whose families students in the fully funded scholarships 2024’ socioeconomic status do not exceed certain cut-off values for the students in the Philippines universities.
- Qualifiers must pursue priority fields of study in the basic sciences, engineering, other applied sciences, and science and mathematics education and get Dost Scholarship Courses.
DOST Scholarship Application Schedule
The DOST Scholarships 2024 is now accepting applications for Undergraduate Candidates All the students must apply to get a fully funded scholarship in Philippines. Eligible students may now abandon their application and required documents through the following link: https://undergrad.science-scholarships.ph/ until December 2, 2023.
The face-to-face pen and paper qualifying examination will be on March 11-12, 2024 at different testing centers nationwide for the DOST Scholarships 2023 and get Dost Scholarship Courses.
DOST Scholarship 2024 Qualifications
Before you take the examination, there are some requirements and qualifications you need to meet. Not everyone is eligible for the DOST scholarships 2024.
- Graduating Grade 12 male and female students in SY 2024:
- STEM STRAND: All students belonging to the STEM class for the DOST Scholarship 2024.
- NON-STEM STRAND: Must be in the top 5% of the graduating class, if belonging to the Non-STEM strand for the DOST Scholarships 2024.
- Must have grades in Grades 9, 10, and 11 to get the DOST Scholarships 2024.
- Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen for those Scholarships in 2024.
- Must be of good moral character and in good health for the DOST Scholarships 2024.
- May have taken the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination but did not qualify for the DOST Scholarships 2024; OR may have qualified for the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship but did not avail of the award for the DOST Scholarships 2024.
- Must NOT have earned any post-secondary units for the DOST Scholarships 2024.
The following are disqualified from the scholarship:
- You had an examination with the DOST-SEI Scholarship before the deadline.
- You applied in the USA or foreign countries for immigrant status to get the DOST Scholarship 2024.
- If you earned units in an undergraduate or post-secondary post to get the DOST Scholarship 2024.
DOST Scholarship Requirements

DOST Scholarship Benefits
- School Tuition and Other Expenses – DOST scholarships are offering P10,000 or P8,000 per semester and are given to the students in the DOST Scholarships 2024.
- A P10,000 book allowance is given to the students
- A P500 allowance for PE Uniform accredited for the First Year Semester for this scholarship. is given to the students
- Students who are studying outside their home province will be granted a roundtrip allowance for the students
- Bachelor of Science in Mining, Geology, Physics, Applied Physics, and Physics Teaching will receive the support of P5,000 for the students in the DOST Scholarships 2024.
- P4,000 is the given allowance every month for DOST-SEI majors or priority courses for the students
- P1,500 is granted to the scholar for tuition and other school fees for the students in the DOST Scholarships 2024.
- There is a second book allowance of P500, but you must submit an official receipt for the students of Philippines
