For new full-time domestic and foreign master’s students enrolling at the University of New Haven, this highly competitive programme offers two types of job possibilities. It’s also a great opportunity for students to apply for scholarships in the United States. A Provost’s Assistantship is given to our top-achieving graduate applicants in 2025. Students chosen for a position in this programme will work for an academic department for up to 15-20 hours per week (550 total hours per academic year), which is a respectable number. Students will get the following in exchange:

- An experiential learning and work opportunity for the entirety of their graduate program in the University of New Haven Scholarship.

Types of Provost’s Assistantships
Research Assistantship
When a student receives a University of New Haven Scholarship, they will either undertake research for an administrative office that is connected to their field of study, conduct research on their own, or assist in research that is being supervised by professors.
Teaching Assistantship
Grading papers, setting up and running laboratories, and mentoring undergraduate students are a few examples of responsibilities. Department-specific duties will differ.

Dean’s Scholarship Program

Applications for the Fall semester must be submitted by March 30th for Priority One and May 1st for Priority Two. Applications received beyond these dates will not be considered. Students must review the deadlines before to applying. For the Spring semester, the Priority One due is October 15th, and the Priority Two deadline is November 15th.
