Eligibility Criteria for Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship 2025

1. Students should be regular students of Class XI and studying in any recognized school/college in Nepal for the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships 2025.
2. Proof of student studying in Class XI attested by the principal to be uploaded for the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships.
3. Students should have secured at least 60% aggregate marks at the high school (SEE)/Class 10th, and the mark sheet is to be uploaded for the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship.
4. The students should be citizens of Nepal. Citizenship certificate of self or parents to be uploaded for the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship.
5. Physically challenged candidates should upload proof from CDO/LDO/Municipality Head for the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships.
6. The family income of the candidate must be less than NRs. 2,00,000/- per annum, and income proof should be provided by CDO/LDO/Municipality Head and uploaded for the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships.

Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship 2025 Worth

Selected students will get a scholarship for NRs. 2,000/- per month, so come and apply for fully funded scholarships in Nepal.

The Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships will continue in the second year, provided that the awardees pass in Class XI and get fully funded scholarships. The student should submit a copy of the class XI passed mark sheet along with the present status of the student stating that he/she is studying in class XII, authenticated, and getting the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships.

The documents should be submitted at the latest by November 2022 either physically at the Education Wing of the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, or the Consulate General of India, Birgunj, or via email to get the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships: attacheedu.kathmandu@mea.gov.in, failing which the scholarship may be terminated for the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships.

The Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships will be discontinued if the awardee fails in Class XI or discontinues study or for any other valid reason, so come and apply for the fully funded scholarships in Nepal.

How to Apply For Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship 2025

1. Students are advised to interact/communicate solely with the Education Wing of the Embassy in Kathmandu and the Consulate General of India at Birgunj for the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships.
2. The students should indicate their address and contact telephone/mobile phone numbers/email addresses clearly in the online application form and also upload a recent passport-size photograph to come and apply to get the fully funded Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships.
3. Any change in address/telephone/mobile number should be intimated immediately through a letter bearing the candidate’s signature, and apply for fully funded scholarships in Nepal.
4. Filling out wrong data/information, such as marks, etc., and in the absence of documents as mentioned in the ‘documents required’ column in the online application form will lead to outright rejection, so come and get the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships.
5. Before filling out the application form online, students/guardians are advised to read the instructions/guidelines thoroughly for the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships.
6. There is no scope for modification in the online system once the form is submitted to get fully funded scholarships in Nepal
