The prestigious and highly competitive Global Korea GKS Scholarship 2024 is now open for applications, so come and apply for scholarships in Korea. The scholarship was previously known as the KGSP Korean Government Scholarship Program, and this is the best scholarship in Korea. This is a fully-funded scholarship, master’s, and Ph.D. degree program, so all candidates must apply for free scholarships. The Korean government sponsors this scholarship 2024 opportunity.
This scholarship will select more than 1300 international students from 155 countries who want to who wish to seek a graduate-level degree (master’s or doctoral) or research in Korea for the scholarship.

The students must apply to achieve this scholarship program, by either submitting their documents to the Korean Embassy of their country or directly to the domestic university of Korea in the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for Global Korea GKS Scholarship 2024
- All international students can apply for this scholarship.
- Korean citizens are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- A candidate applying for a graduate must be below 40 years to be eligible for the scholarship
- Master’s Program students must hold a bachelors degree or a level of education
- equivalent to or higher than a bachelor ‘s degree to be eligible for the scholarship
- Doctoral Program students: Must hold a master’s degree or a level of education equivalent to or higher than a master‟ ‘s degree for the scholarship
- Research Program Applicant: Must have received an invitation from one of the partner universities for the scholarship.
- A person who has already availed of the Korean scholarship is not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Students should are in good health are eligible for the scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits
- Airfare (Return Air Ticket) is given to the students
- Settlement Allowance: 200,000 KRW (offered once after entry to Korea) are given to the students
- Monthly Allowance: (Degree Program) 900,000 KRW per month, (Research Program) 1,500,000 KRW per month are given to the students
- Research Allowances are given to the students

- Natural Science and Engineering majors: 240,000 KRW per semester are given to the students
- 1-Year Korean Language Training Fee: Fully covered by the scholarship

- Research Support Fees are given to the students, so students must apply for fully funded scholarships in 2024
- The scholarship will cover Medical Insurance
- Korean Proficiency Grants: 100,000 KRW per month by the scholarship

How to Apply for Global Korea Scholarship 2024
- While applying to the Korean embassy, a candidate needs to dispatch original or attested documents to the embassy for the scholarship.
- On the other hand, applying directly to the university requires a student to submit all documents to the domestic university for the scholarship.
- A student applying via the embassy can apply to 3 universities, whereas an applicant applying directly to the university can apply only to 1 university for the scholarship.
- Scholars passing round two of the Embassy track process should not consider it the final selection for the Global Korea GKS Scholarships 2024.
