The Faculty of Science and its alumni group, Science@Leuven, have established the Science@Leuven Scholarships. The Faculty of Science at KU Leuven encourages bright international students who are motivated to study abroad to apply for a KU Leuven Scholarship 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for the KU Leuven Scholarship 2024
- The needed language is English (minimum TOEFL score of 94 or IELTS minimum of 7).
- All nations throughout the world are welcome to apply as international candidates.
- Prior to applying, candidates had never attended or worked at the University of Leuven.
- Applicants need to hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in order to be admitted to the chosen Master’s degree programme.
- The candidates are not yet master’s or doctoral degree holders.
- The candidates are highly interested in applying to the KU Leuven Faculty of
- Science’s master’s degree programme.
- Students who have been awarded this scholarship must sign a contract explaining the conditions of acceptance.
- The candidates are prepared to represent the programme.

- Interuniversity Master of Geology (Only students who are eligible to apply for the specialisations Geodynamics and Georesources or Surface Processes and Paleoenvironments are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Students that apply for other specialisations (admission at Ghent University) will not be given consideration for the scholarship.
KU Leuven Scholarship 2024 Coverage
- Over the course of a year, this scholarship has a maximum value of 10,000 euros.
- The Science@Leuven Fund Board will determine the precise amount of each award. This scholarship will pay for a year’s worth of tuition, insurance, and basic health care.
- Even if a student wins the entire 10,000 Euro scholarship, it is still essential for them to carry some additional cash.
- Most of the master’s programmes offered by the Faculty of Science last two years.
- Scholarships for the second year are only awarded to students who excel in their first master’s year.
How to Apply for the KU Leuven Scholarship 2024?
For the academic year 2024–2025, applicants for the KU Leuven Scholarship in Belgium must submit their applications online. You must take the following actions in order to be eligible for this scholarship.
- Select the Master programme from among those provided by Science@Leuven, then submit an application for it via the KU Leuven website.
- You must carefully read the application procedures before submitting an application for a scholarship.
- The following files must be uploaded using the KU Leuven application portal;
- Complete list of course titles
- Reference letters (Two)
- A motivation letter for the program
- Once you have finished and submitted your master’s programme application, you will get a notification on the screen verifying that you successfully submitted the form.

- Your application for the Science@Leuven Scholarship is complete once you receive an email confirming it.
